What We Do
The Village Improvement Society was created in 1913, to work for the general welfare of all the townspeople of Little Compton. The mission has been: To promote and support charitable, educational and social activities in the town of Little Compton.

Community Activities
The LCVIS plays a role in a variety of LC community activities either by initiating and managing an event, or assisting to bolster and strengthen activities led by LC sister organizations.
Charitable Support
Funds raised enable the LCVIS to support local charities such as the community service scholarships and the Gift of Giving program.
