Sneak Peek: Bunker Farm + Pine Knot Farms

Grease up those wagon wheels, clear out the trunk, and get ready to load it up with beautiful plants from The Bunker Farm! Our lovely friend Helen will be bringing some of her more frost tolerant selections of annuals, biennials, and perennials- many of the classics people are hoping to catch, foxgloves, verbascums, poppies(omg!) as well as some oddball new things with seeds from afar. This year she had a good crop of Ferula communis (giant fennel) and will be bringing plenty to share! Pictured: Campanula medium ‘Champion Blue’ or canterbury bells (annual), Anchusa azurea ‘Dropmore’ (biennial), and Verbascum chaixii ‘Sixteen Candles’ (perennial).

More wonders are coming to Plant Fair from Virginia, with Bryan of Pine Knot Farms. Bryan is a seasoned Plant Fair professional and we are excited to welcome him back and buy all his plants. He grows a stunning selection of Hellebores, epimedium, and other shade perennials that are perfect for those tough spots in the garden and spaces that need some early spring color. Let’s welcome Bryan back to Plant Fair! 5th Annual Sakonnet Plant Fair – 3 Meetinghouse Lane in Little Compton, RI on May 2nd. 9AM-2PM. Plants, Authors, Food, Music and more.
