Plant Fair Food & Parking

Is admission free? Yes! What about food and parking? The important questions! The good news: Parking is plentiful! The other news: most of it is parallel. In addition to the Plant Fair field and the Town Common parking we have been granted permission from the churches in town to use their parking lots so definitely try there if you want to park on pavement. There’s Handicapped parking across from the upper entrance to the Fair field (by BayCoast Bank). And parallel parking is the rest of it. Willow Ave, South of Commons Rd, Meetinghouse Lane, and Simmons Rd. are all great options. Be careful of the roadside ditches and please mind the posted speed limits. and pedestrians But is there food? There is definitely food at Plant Fair. We have Rise and Grind coffee (@_riseandgrindcafe) coming for your hot beverage needs along with other breakfasty things. Also local gal Wilma (@wilmaskitchenlc) will have quiches and fruit and more. A-1 Pizza will be open for salads, pizzas, and grinders, etc. George’s is coming back with your burgers and fries and Macray’s is returning to fill your cravings for clamcakes and chowder. A little bit of everything and something for everyone at the 5th annual Sakonnet Plant Fair, Saturday May 2nd 9-2, rain or shine. 3 Meetinghouse Lane in Little Compton, RI.
