Glendale Botanicals; Kinney Azalea Garden; Scented Path Nursery

Glendale Botanicals is returning to Sakonnet plant sale for its 4th year as a vendor! Rob grows some exquisite rare tropicals so if that’s your thing you can get behind me in line. This year the offerings include sculptural agaves, dramatic platyceriums, vibrant bromeliads, begonias, and striking philodendrons. With a focus on bold shapes, rich textures, and standout foliage, Glendale Botanicals gives plant lovers the chance to discover beautiful, hard-to-find plants for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Of all the wonderful flowering spring shrubs, Azaleas and Rhododendrons can truly stun with their eruption of blooms and variety of colors. Plant Fair will again welcome two of the area’s experts in these lovely woody shrubs. Scented Path Nursery specializes in fragrant rhododendrons and azaleas. They will have several varieties for sale, among them Dexter’s Peppermint, Azalea Marydel (Photo by: Sally and John Perkins), and Azalea EastmaniiX. Delightful! For the second year, our friends at Kinney Azalea Garden will show off their finery by bringing a sampling of the 500 unique and rare cultivars that they grow in Kingston RI at their magical botanical garden. Add it to your weekend plans for a spring visit. But first, welcome them both to Sakonnet Plant Fair, May 2nd, 9AM-2PM in Little Compton, RI.
