We feel so fortunate to have vendors come to town from a long way off (especially by RI standards!). Most of us know PA-based Edgewood Gardens for its exquisite, near impossible to find gems of the early spring garden -Cyclamen, Trillium, Galantis and species Peonies- but even the most detail oriented gardener is likely to discover something new. Please be prepared for magnetic temptation and writing a thank you note to your future self. Returning for their second year at Plant Fair is Maine’s Snug Harbor Farm- last year I definitely swooned over their violas in hand-thrown, mossy terracotta. You can, too because they’ll be back this year along with a terracotta hedgehog planter, succulents, and very cool begonias. All this and more awaits at the 5th Annual Sakonnet Plant Fair – 3 Meetinghouse Lane in Little Compton, RI on May 2nd. 9AM-2PM. Plants, Authors, Food, Music and more. Admission is free.
